How to Apply
1. Apply Online (Fastest)
- Go to the Ohio Benefits Self-Service Portal
- Create an OHID account or use your existing one.
- Set up Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for security.
- Upload your documents through the portal.

2. Apply by Phone
- Call 1-844-640-OHIO (6446) and select your language.
- Virtual hold is available — get a callback without waiting on the line.
Tip:
Avoid Mondays and lunch hours to reduce wait times.
3. Apply by Paper
- Fill forms on-site or take them home. Drop them in the secure drop-box — collected daily.
