A Place 4 Me is on a mission to prevent and end youth homelessness in Cuyahoga County, with a special focus on young people in or transitioning out of foster care. A Place 4 Me helps youth and young adults build stability and connects them to resources in the following areas:
- Housing
- Employment
- Education and training
- Permanency and supportive relationships
- Physical and mental health
- Financial capability
- Social capital and community connections
Youth Navigation Services
A Place 4 Me’s Youth Navigation program serves young people with foster care experience ages 16–24, offering one-on-one support with housing, education, employment, and community resources. Navigation Services are also provided to young adults ages 18–24 who are not in the foster care system but are experiencing or at risk of homelessness. Opportunity Passport®
Opportunity Passport® serves young people ages 14–25 who have spent at least one day in foster care after their 14th birthday. The program provides financial education and matched asset building to help participants build credit and purchase assets such as housing, transportation, education, or debt reduction.
