The Cleveland/Cuyahoga County Continuum of Care (CoC) is an extensive network of agencies that plans, organizes, and delivers housing and services to prevent homelessness, assist people while they are homeless, and help transition people into stable housing.
Initially, the CoC was organized in response to a Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) requirement. Today the CoC is a dynamic force that serves our very low income and long-term homeless populations.
The Cleveland/Cuyahoga County Continuum of Care is also the entity that annually submits the HUD-mandated consolidated application for federal homeless assistance dollars.
CoC Program Competition
Each year the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) holds an annual competition to award grant funds to support homeless programming.
