The DSAS Home Support Services unit provides home care that enables older adults age 60 and over, or adults with disabilities age 18-59, to receive affordable personal care and homemaking services in their own home. This flexible program allows these individuals to live independently in their home, while staying connected to their community.
How Fees for Services are Determined
Service fees are based on eligibility and income. Clients and their families speak with our knowledgeable case managers confidentially about their needs and abilities, and we work with them to develop the best plan for their well-being.

- Bathing
- Dressing
- Grooming
- Light housekeeping
- Laundry
- Meal preparation
- Shopping or errands
Fee for Service Eligibility Requirements
Home support services are available to eligible Cuyahoga County residents and fees are based on a sliding scale according to income. To be eligible, a client must:
- Older adult age 60 and over, or adult with disabilities age 18-59
- Be a Cuyahoga County resident
- Live in their own home or apartment
